THE CALL REVIEW

In the fall of 1987, a group of small-town friends must survive the night in the home of a sinister couple after a tragic accident brings them to the couple’s door.  Starring: Lin Shaye, Tobin Bell, and Chester Rushing Directed by: Timothy Woodward Jr. Written by: Patrick Stibbs   This is “The Call” you don’t want to make! Chris (Chester Rushing) is the new kid in school, and quickly befriends Tonya (Erin Sanders). She seems nice at first, as she’s tasked with showing him around the school. Later she introduces him to her friends Zack (Mike Manning) and Brett (Sloane Morgan Siegel), and they all share a story with him. A story about how Tonya’s sister died under the care of a woman named Edith Cranston (Lin Shaye).   The group has done their best to make Edith’s life miserable like throwing rocks at her house. LET US IN REVIEW

A spirited twelve year old girl and her best friend look to uncover the sudden disappearances of several missing teens in their small town. Realizing there might be something deeper happening, Emily and Christopher might be up against forces they can’t even imagine. Based on the urban legend “The Black Eyed Kids.” Starring: Tobin Bell, Makenzie Moss, and O’Neill Monahan Directed by: Craig Moss Written by: Joe Callero and Craig Moss   Once they say, “Let Us In,” you’re in big trouble. Christopher is definitely dedicated to the project, but Emily has some more important struggles going on in her life. She’s struggling over a tragic accident with a friend, and now having issues with some of the other girls at school.      However, her biggest issue may be the “Bl...

BELZEBUTH REVIEW

After losing his family in an extremely tragic way, Detective Ritter must investigate a massacre at a school perpetrated by a student. What seemed like a pretty clear case becomes much more dense when a priest of the Vatican appears with another point of view. Starring: Tobin Bell, Tate Ellington, and Joaquin Cosio Directed by: Emilio Portes Written by: Luis Carlos Fuentes, and Emilio Portes   Child birth can come with a mixed bag of emotions, and certainly pain for the mother. After it’s over the the joy sets in before the mother hands over her child to basically strangers to be checked out. In most cases, nothing goes wrong, the hospital takes care of the child, and it eventually goes home with mom. However, there’s lots that can go wrong like the baby being sick, or getting names switched. Detective Ritter (Joaquin Cosio) is about to experience something even worse in “Belzebuth.”   His wife has just given birth to a child, and the couple seems like...

SPOOKY EMPIRE 2014

I had a blast Spooky Empire 2014, as I do every year. I got to meet more Horror Icons, watch some great panels, take cool pics, and score some awesome autographs. More than anything it's the little moments like Melissa McBride saying she liked my hat, Tobin Bell pointing out that he's taking a pic with a Horror Icon (of course I told him that he's the real Icon), and Bitsie Tulloch remembering my name hours later. Those kinds of moments are why I always encourage horror fans to attend conventions.  So below are some videos I took of the panels including the Halloween, The Walking Dead, Michael Rooker, Tobin Bell, and Grimm. Also, there's a video of some of the pics I took over the course of the weekend.   Spooky Empire 2014 Pics: The Walking Dead Panel Pics: Click  here  to see the post with The Walking Dead Panel videos.
