IT: CHAPTER TWO REVIEW

Twenty-seven years after their first encounter with the terrifying Pennywise, the Losers Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call brings them back. Starring: Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, Andy Bean, and Bill Skarsgard Written by: Gary Dauberman and Stephen King Directed by: Andy Muschietti   No clowning around here, lets jump right into “IT: Chapter Two.” The famous scene with Georgie sets the tone for chapter one, so how would chapter two start? They set up a scene that unfortunately is much more common than should be these days. A gay couple is enjoying their time at the fair when they find themselves under attack. One of them is thrown into the river, and pulled out by Pennywise (Bill Skarsgard). With his partner watching, Pennywise finishes what the bullies started. Again they’ve opened with a powerful, hard to watch scene that definitely will get the audience’s attention....

GLASS REVIEW

***Spoiler Alert*** Security guard David Dunn uses his supernatural abilities to track Kevin Wendell Crumb, a disturbed man who has twenty-four personalities. Starring: James McAvoy, Bruce Willis, and Samuel L. Jackson Directed and written by: M. Night Shyamalan   No question that M. Night has made some really good movies, and some really bad ones. Some easily stand out as good, and some as bad with a few in the middle. The audience is quickly updated on the life of David Dunn (Bruce Willis), and even gets to see him in action. On the flip side, the audience also gets to see what the Horde (James McAvoy) has been up to since the end of “ Split .” And what can b...

SPLIT REVIEW

After three girls are kidnapped by a man with 24 distinct personalities they must find some of the different personalities that can help them while running away and staying alive from the others. Starring: James McAvoy, Haley Lu Richardson, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Jessica Sula Directed and written by: M. Night Shyamalan   So HorrO, what did you think about “Split?” I don’t know, I’m still kind of split about it. Well, you better figure it out because you have a review to write. Damn, it’s time to write a review already. Yea, it’s that time. Alright then, let HorrO take it from here. Sounds good, but just remember to keep it spoiler free. I’ll try to make it as spoiler free as possible, but no promises (that ’s your warning)!   Ok, enough with the funny stuff, lets get serious. There’s usually a lot of anticipation with M. Night movies that end up pleasing the audience, or letting them down in a big way. Either way, he’s proven to be a good story teller, it ju...
